Travel and Expense
The Expense Report module is used to reimburse employees for work related expenses and to pay Univeristy Corporate Travel Cards.
University T&E Requirements
Training is required for University employees who enter Expense Reports. You do not, however, have to complete the T&E training prior to Go-Live unless you need to enter expense reports right away. You can complete the eLearning on your own schedule. Allow up to 2 days for transactional access to be granted after you complete the eLearning.
Healthcare T&E Requirements
If you are an Emory Healthcare employee and only enter Expense Reports for Healthcare Departments, then you are not required to go to T&E training.
If you are an Emory Healthcare employee and enter Expense Reports for University employees, you must complete Expense training. (Course 260454)
Oracle’s PeopleSoft 9.2 Travel and Expenses Management solution helps streamline and automate travel spend based on Emory’s policies. The Expense module allows the ability to set travel policy controls for compliance via simplified configuration, as well as, eliminate paper based approvals by using the delivered automated electronic approval process.
Given Emory's business need for approvals based on department hierarchy and/or dollar thresholds, the application provides configurable rules to accommodate those needs. The application supports corporate credit card data feeds, allowing users to select transaction(s) from “My Wallet” and populate the expense report.
The Expense module has integrations between other PeopleSoft systems (HR) and other Financials modules (Accounts Payable, Project Costing, Commitment Control and General Ledger) providing your organization a fully integrated solution.
