  • I can’t seem to access the Distance Learning. My screen flickers or nothing comes up.

  • Refer to the Prerequisite Course Additional Topic Getting Started with Using UPK. If you are having technical issues with your computer, e.g., can't turn off pop-up blockers, system running slow, etc., contact your technical support resources.

  • I'm not sure about my learning path. How do I know I have the right courses?

  • Review the Quick Start Guide to identify how PeopleSoft impacts your job, then create your learning path

  • I clicked on the 'Launch the Training Simulation' link, and the application loaded, but nothing happened. What do I do?

  • Click the “+” to open the lesson lists, then click “See It,” “Try It” or “Know it” buttons to advance the simulation. For more information on using the distance learning tool, review Getting Started with Using UPK.

  • How do I update my training record to show completion of my Compass training?

  • Review "How Do I Record My Training in ESS?"

  • I took my final assessment after taking my Distance Learning course. What do I do now?

  • You may print your final assessment as a record of completing the course. You may also wish to share a copy of the assessment with your Manager if he/she is tracking course completion for their employees.

  • The Distance Learning has a Supplemental Job Aid. What is this for?

  • Job aids are supplements to the course material. In some cases they present additional information not covered in the Distance Learning course. In most cases they are simply a printable version of the Distance Learning so you can take notes as you complete the Distance Learning course.

  • I have a Mac and I am having trouble accessing the Distance Learning.

  • First, review the Prerequisite Additional Topic Getting Started with Using UPK. Special procedures for Mac users are included in this document.
