Preparing all of Emory for the new PeopleSoft Financials System is a huge undertaking. Every employee does something different, which means that employees may take several different routes to transition to PeopleSoft Financials depending upon their role, position and use of the financials systems. As employees across the Emory community prepare for the change, take a minute to view a series of video vignettes that chronicle their individual transition paths.

Gene Murphy, Associate Director of Finance at Emory College
Gene has gone above and beyond the call of duty by organizing Super Users assigned to Emory College to create a Super User Solutions Center. The Solutions Center will help employees resolve issues if they are having difficulty after the implementation of PeopleSoft Financials. This program links the 40+ departments within the Emory College and uses a collaborative approach to help all College employees, faculty and staff transition effectively and efficiently.

Katharine Foster, Director of Finance and Operations in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations
Katharine is a “Super User” for the PeopleSoft Financials implementation. She serves as a liaison between the Project Compass Team and the Emory community, ensuring that users in her department are aware and actively preparing for the implementation. Katharine is preparing herself, her team, and countless others in the University for the change on September 1st.

Karen Paul-Reed, Executive Administrator for Edie Murphree, VP for Finance for Emory University
Karen works in the Division of Finance and has been with Emory for over a year. She has numerous responsibilities involving Finance and will be taking a variety of courses to prepare for PeopleSoft.
